The people behind the work
Meet our people.

Jere Jay
CEO
Jere Jay is a geologist and energy entrepreneur with decades of experience in oil and gas exploration, development and subsurface evaluation. His approach combines traditional field geology with detailed interpretation of well logs, core data, production records and historical archives, often returning to original records to uncover information that has been overlooked or undervalued. Through INNEX California Inc., Jere has applied this combination of geology, history and practical industry experience to the Kettleman Hills of California, including the reassessment and development of Kettleman Middle Dome.
Today, Jere is leading the development of Kettleman Nexus, a broader vision for the site that builds on its established energy resources while looking toward its next generation of use. The program brings together oil and natural gas production with geothermal, solar and other complementary energy opportunities, alongside potential industrial and data infrastructure. At the heart of Jere's approach is a simple principle: understand what the geology and history are telling you first, then use that knowledge to make better decisions about what comes next.
