Larry is an experienced engineer with a
strong operating and management
background. Mr. Morse has over thirty-five
years of industry experience in developing
and managing large projects and oil and
gas fields around the world.
After graduating from Texas A&M
University with a B.S. degree in
Mechanical Engineering, Mr. Morse worked
for ARCO in engineering, operations, and
management positions for over twenty
years. While with ARCO, he worked in
offshore engineering and operations
positions for the Gulf of Mexico, the
Prudhoe Bay start-up team, production
engineering staff, and operations
management in the Mid-Continent and
Rocky Mountain area. Larry also served as
the Field Operations Manager for the
Kuparuk and Prudhoe Bay fields (Alaska).
As the Prudhoe Bay Field Operations
Manager, he managed all of ARCO's
production operations and maintenance
activities in the Prudhoe Bay and Lisburne
Fields including well and production
facilities, central compression plant,
seawater treatment plant, and central gas
facility. Following the reorganization of
ARCO Alaska in 1989, he took on the
additional responsibilities of managing the
drilling and materials organizations for the
Prudhoe Field. Mr. Morse also managed
the area covering the Rocky Mountain
and New Mexico operations including the
development and operation of ARCO's San
Juan Basin coal bed methane project.
After ARCO, Larry worked with Enron Oil &
Gas Company, where he served as
Managing Director of EOG India for six
years. As Managing Director, Mr. Morse
oversaw the implementation of projects
including the design and fabrication of
platforms, facilities, pipelines; the drilling
of the development wells; the startup of
the facilities; and the ramp up of
production for Panna-Mukta and Tapti
fields.
In 2007 he joined PetroTel, Inc. where he
participated in numerous consulting
assignments including projects in
Malaysia, Alaska, Texas, India, Indonesia,
Oman, Mozambique, and Brazil. Larry also
led the operations activities of PetroTel's
E&P projects in Indonesia and Oman.
